    Sort of.
I have an Ibanez bass and also an Iceman and an AF95--so all Ibanez.

The Iceman and the SR500F are both mahogany solidbodies.

My older bass is a Gibson copy and I also have a Les Paul copy--both were Matsumoku made.

(Although the LP copy looks different now, as I changed the pickups and some other stuff.)

They kind of match in a yin and yang way. Does that count?

as bob ross would say, you need dark in order to show the light.

Not perfect matches, but I do like to go with pairs... :)

I actually just traded off the Les Paul bass, and bought the black jazz bass... So now I need a 5 string LP bass and maybe a Strat or tele... A jaguar would be a better "match" for the jazz, but I barely tolerate strats and teles... I really hate most all of fender's other guitar models. (Didn't consider that when I bought the jazz bass, lol!)

My original 1968' Paisley Telecaster and my MIJ Paisley Bass. My mom bought my older brother this guitar brand new in 1968. I was five years old and would sneak into my moms room (she made my brother put it in her room after his lessons) and i would open the case and strum this thing of beauty i was looking at. I still remember exactly what it smelled like. Strange huh? The MIJ bass is really quite impressive. In my opinion, the Japanese assembly line Fender basses are outstanding in quality. They are about the closest to the older (60's & 70's) Fender basses that i have owned. 1968 Fender Telecaster.jpg Fender Paisley Bass MIJ.jpg
