I picked up this beauty in a trade here on TB a few months ago. It's a killer bass, looks & sounds great. Definitely a head turner, lots of compliments on tone & looks. I gigged with it a few times but like the previous owners, have taken great care and its in excellent condition.

Been itching to try a Sadowsky so listing this as FOR SALE ONLY to help fund the purchase. SALE PRICE $2250 shipped & insured in a Mayones OHSC. PAYPAL AND CONUS ONLY PLEASE. Retail new is about $3500. The only trade I'm interested is for a Sadowsky 5, +/- cash depending if NYC or Metro.

    Thanks for looking :D

    Sick rig man...!!!

Question on the bass...... How is slapping on it? The end of the fingerboard and the neck pickup look close together......not much space there for popping.....

    Thanks dpbass!
I can't say I have any issues slapping, feels & sounds great to me. I don't have any good audio clips but here's a nice demo with slap and fingerstyle playing on a Jabba 5 that's pretty much identical to mine.

    Thanks Fourtet and Pedulla!

A fellow TB'er visited Mayones shop last year and was kind enough to share some pics with us in this thread in case you'd like to see where this beauty was made.

Since I don't have an decent recordings to share, here's 1 more video of Hadrien Feraud getting down on a Jabba 5 at NAMM 2013.

Man I want this. Any interest in a Warwick Thumb Bolt-On, rare dark ovangkol top and a Zon Sonus 5 quilted maple? I'll let both go for this guy.

Thanks Unchain, she def sounds as good as she looks! That 1st video with Or Lubianiker on a Jabba 5 is a really accurate representation of what this bass sounds like.

Thanks for the bump Groove. Mayones isn't exactly a household name but this bass has the killer looks AND tone, no doubt about that.

Thanks Fourtet....maybe nows your change to get her back:D

Mayones makes incredible instruments! Easily in the same class as Sadowsky and F Bass.
