I don't buy their products. I think the people running that company are the same thing as what they put in the meat, namely a-holes.

Here's a tip. Don't go to work at McDonald's if you are the bread winner of your house. It always fascinates me how people tend to piss and moan about where they work as if there are no other employers out there. If it is that bad, go somewhere else. McDonald's was NEVER intended to be a career move. It was intended for kids in high school and retired people who were bored. If the very best you can do as a healthy adult is McDonald's then you have bigger problems than low salary.

It's still ignoring the problem that minimum wage in most states in the US is not a living wage. This isn't normal.

For many people who can only find work at McDonalds, it is almost impossible to simply "go somewhere else."

That's not McDonald's problem. They are not a charity. It is not their obligation to pay a living wage simply because their employees can't (or won't) find better jobs. If every fast food joint and grocery store and department store began paying $15.00 an hour plus benefits, then none of us could afford to eat at those places or buy their goods. The money has to come from somewhere. Those businesses are owned by stock holders. They aren't going to simply take a huge hit in profits.

Yeah, because jobs grow on trees, and everyone can be a lawyer/doctor/businessowner/engineer/ceo/whatever. Must be great living in Your world.

Never said that. But everyone over 16 and under 65 can do better than McDonald's. Again, if you can't, then low wages are only the beginning of your problems. You're screwed.

I kinda knew i shouldn't have posted this. I thought somehow everyone would agree mcd's are being scum****s. I am naive.

The problem of minimum wage is a political one though, it's true, but im sure corporations have a huge influence when it comes to those things.

The point was that on that site mcd's gave amazing tips to their employees like breaking their food in smaller pieces cause that would make them less hungry (i not sure they understand how nutrition works...not that that should be a surprise) and also to quit complaining because that raises blood pressure. Oh yeah and you should resell those xmas gifts you get for money.

Nah. Throwing in the towel and just staying at McDonald's is a much better plan. Equally as ridiculous.

    "F*** you, I got mine."

tf, I understand that you work very hard. Some people can work harder then you and never make it up from where they are. Poverty is a black hole of sorts, once you cross that boundary you are screwed. Knowing this, should we not try to make some system to help people escape the event horizon?
