Well I did this reggae version of "TV Party" around 6 years ago as a joke and to see what I could do with my then new Line6 UX-1 interface and Ableton live software.

My whole concept was to have "TV Party" take place in Kingston where a bunch of mellow rasta heads came together, smoke some stuff and watch TV.

I played everything on the recording and also did all the voices, it took forever to complete but it was so much fun to do.

The instruments used were an old Yamaha keyboard (I can't remember which type) my 1989 Squier Stratocaster and my five string Jan Knooren custom bass.

I was really grooving along doing a deep, bubbly bass line which as I recall was the second of two takes.

I hope you guys dig it.
