Here's an incredible bass. Mike Brown was one of Carl Thompson's protégés like Darrin Huff, Ray Rogers, Pete Hilton, and many others. Build quality is phenomenal, like the best you could imagine. Definitely on par with Smith, Fodera, or CT. Bass features mahogany body with bacote top. Hard rock maple neck, ebony fingerboard with bacote dots. Very light, 8ish pounds. Definitely the lightest bass I've ever owned. Nordstrand big singles and Aguilar OBP-3 pre make up the electronics. The scale is 34.5 with full 19mm bridge spacing, although the Hipshot hardware is fully adjustable. Comes with moulded HSC. Asking $2800 or trade for 5 strings of same caliber (I'd really like a singlecut again). Mike doesn't build basses anymore, so get her while ya can!!!
    Thanks TB!

I think I'm getting the runaround. Anyone else have any last min offers? I should hopefully know before the end if the week. Want a "like CT quality bass" without spending $5-8k? Then you want a Browne, a Huff, or Hilton. These don't come up everyday :)

:crying:Come on that's not fair. You're not getting the run around. As I told you, I'm a full time Firefighter who's on 24 hr call in status even on my off days. I hardly ever log out of TB, that's why it appears I'm always online. I use a Mac and never shut off, only allowing it to go into sleep mode. I must admit however, I am doing my homework to build up the confidence. i'll say the rest via pm. :)

Do you know what year she is, and can you please describe the general condition? Any dings, scuffs, etc.?

I owned 2 Gnomes, a fretted and a fretless, both 4-strings. They r great, and I regret selling them!

    Thanks!
