Curiously, this one has a seen a few owners around Talkbass.

I think very highly of it, and it inspired me to place a customer order for a Lull Surf Green M4V. I'm making the switch primarily because I want an active P+J configuration.

    - Ash body
    - Maple neck with very nice birdseye
    - Surf green w/ white pearloid
    - Light weight (< 8 lbs.)
    - Lull gig bag
    - Lindy Fralins, single coil
    - Passive (vol, vol, tone)
    - Still in excellent condition

Price reduced to $1500. Price is firm. No trades please.

A previous owner has some great pics here:

    Quick question for ya Captain:

The previous ad by WoodyG3 lists a C&G hardshell case. Your ad lists a gig bag. Did something happen to the HSC? Did it get smuushed or something??

I think the bass went to another TB'er between woody and the captain. I believe that owner kept the case or sold it separately. I've been watching this bass go around TB on accounta I was the original owner who custom ordered it, hoping that I'll eventually be in a position to get it back. hard case or not, at $1600, this is a killer deal. I paid $2300 for it originally.

Thanks j.k for that info. Very much appreciated! I was just curious about the HSC.

Regarding the bass itself, it sure is a looker!

I've played dozens of Lulls, and, yes, this is a great one.

I'm sold on the color, but I've been wanting an active P+J for a while (went with Nordy P+J pickups for my custom Surf Green Lull order). I'm hoping to have it in 3-4 weeks.

Otherwise, I'd probably hold on to this one.

I don't know what happened to the case, but the bag is nice.

Hey, it's for sale again!? As one of the previous owners, I can tell you this is a beauty. The fretwork is as good as any bass I've seen. GLWTS.

If I hadn't just bought a great ocean turquoise V4 the other day, this thread would now be closed.

If I didn't already own a fiesta red V4, I'd be all over this!

The only thing better (for me) is an M4V ;)

    Added my own pics.

Boxed it up today with copious amounts of bubble wrap.

Let's hope this poor, excellent bass finds a long-term home at last. It's remarkable so many people have let it go, yet here I am. In fairness to this bass, I'm ordering one almost just like it with a few personal preference tweaks.
