Thanks for sharing 2 great Watt spiels!
I'm not the biggest punk music fan, but Watt is a huge influence on me, and sounds like a true character with a humble, generous soul.

I remember buying a T-shirt from him after a show, it was 10 bucks.
I gave him maybe 7 singles, then pulled a bunch of loose change and guitar picks out of my pocket.

"Keep the change, but I'll take the picks" Watt said.
Now THAT's punk rock for ya!

$10? I bought one from the man out of a trashbag for $5 in 1997 (I was still in my teens at the time). Signed my promo only copy of "Big Bottom Pow-Wow," too. watt, Flea, Chris Kirkwood and Claypool sitting around talking 'bout bass. Wish I could find it these days. He signed two basses of mine as well (one of which is mentioned in his Second Man's Middle Stand tour diaries for Columbia, Mo.).

    Love watt.
