Letting go of another case queen. I rarely play 6 string basses and this one should be in the hands of someone who will give it the play time it deserves.

5A Quilt Maple top, Chechen fingerboard. Bartolini Pickups, Aguilar OBP-3 preamp. Close to mint condition - hard to tell it’s been played. It’s currently strung with Fodera Anthony Jackson Signatures which give it an almost piano like quality. The best sounding 6 I've ever played. The ‘B’ is exceptional – it’s solid and blends naturally with the other strings. Serial number indicates that it was built in 2006. Bass comes with the Modulus OHSC.

$2100 plus shipping. PayPal is fine, but I can make other arrangements if needed.

Straight sale preferred, but will consider the following as part of a trade deal +/- cash as appropriate:

    - Sadowsky 4 or 5
    - Roscoe 5
    - Ken Smith 5

Any bass trades would need to be light, around 9 lbs or less.

Holy smokes! The necks on these never warp, correct?

I had a chechen/Bart/OBP3 Q6. This combination completely smokes. GLWS!

  6. Uh yeah. I wish I could find a Q4 with this same finish/neck. Love it! This bass looks great. I bet it plays like a dream!

I'm not aware of any of theses necks ever warping. Due to their composition, I imagine it's next to impossible. The nice thing about the newer necks that have truss rods (like this bass) is you can adjust the relief to your preference.

It does. I played it briefly yesterday and was reminded how good it played and sounded. If it doesn't sell, I'll consider it a sign that I should just keep it.

That's awesome because nothing is more disappointing to me than a beautiful bass with a beautiful sound and awful neck problems!

This Modulus does NOT have this problem. GLWTS!

As far as trades go, I'm really only interested in the basses listed - Thx.
