I'm thinking about purchasing one of these, and not sure which to get? Both cost the same.

I'm a novice when it comes to ring modulators - thanks guys.

I think the Moog is one of the coolest pedals I have. The level of control and quality of sounds are a source of joy.

Go with the Electro-Harmonix Ring Thing, you'll be set for life.

I HAD the old-style Moogerfooger ring mod, the Zvex RingTone and the EH Frequency Analyzer, I HAVE the EH Ring Thing. It's a little more expensive than the two mentioned in the original post, but it's also a sweet chorus, vibrato, vibe and pitch-shifter in addition to an extremely versatile ring mod.

Used Ringworm, 80 bucks or less and you're set.
