Most "charismatic" bass guitar

    Whatever Gene Simmons used seemed to help make him very attractive.

    A 4001/4003 to me is a very charismatic bass to me.

    They just have a bright look about them. undeniable that they are visually quite powerful compared to a P-bass or Jazz.

    And, although the OP was concerning bass guitars, nothing says class like a classic upright bass. Especially classy when Stanley Clarke is playing it.

    A Bass is essentially 95% wood (with a few exceptions). I always thought the 'Charisma' came from whoever is driving it.
