Was talking with someone and remembered this movie clip for some reason. Pretty sure this was the most heart wrenching scene I ever saw in a movie. Instant waterworks for me.

If ya don't feel like watchin, its the scene from Crash, where the little girl jumps in front of the bullet because she's wearing the bullet proof cloak.

I can pretty much watch any film and feel no emotional attachment.

Oddly, what affected me was the film/documentary Christian the Lion (there are varying title names). Two guys bought a pet lion and realized it needed to be released into the wild. The Lion was sent to Africa. Years later, the two visited Africa with the hopes of seeing the lion again.

The Lion recognized them immediately and essentially became a happy kitten, nuzzling and hugging. During the time away, the Lion had mated he and seemed to "introduce" the two guys to his family. A Lion doesn't how to act. That could not be taught, so it was real emotion.

I'm not a very sentimental person by nature, but I remember the scene in Kalifornia where Julliete Lewis' character dies always got to me for some reason. Why that of all things I have no idea. How corny.

For me, the movie "The Crow" always seemed to have an emotional impact. The entire scene were Eric Draven enters his apartment after coming back from death really registered with me. As he's touching various objects and the memories of how he died and what happened to Shelley come rushing back, eventually driving him insane. A mixture of sadness and anger on my part.

I was going to post a link but I'm not sure it's in line with TB rules for language and content.

I know it's not heart wrenching in the sense you meant, nevertheless, it was heart wrenching in more of "what the heck" kind of way.

At the end of The Return of the King, when Aragorn says to the hobbits "My friends...you bow to no one." And then everybody bows to the hobbits.

Haven't seen it since I was a kid, but yeah, that was sad.

That movie has some pretty intense moments.
