Has anyone seen it lately? Where was it last sighted?
My god, is it safe to go outside?

Just avoid nighttime walks and you should be OK.

The Mothman Bass was recently reported to have been seen near a collapsed bridge in West Virginia.

I didn't think the thread named the actual store. If I weren't paying off an archtop electric, I'd briefly consider trying to purchase the Mothman. I'm well aware that it might consume my soul as I burn in eternal damnation.

Last known sighting was HERE: http://actionguitar.com/

Take the tour and go to the bass department to view where Mothman was last seen. Last sighting of mothman had him hanging out among the forked headtocks (natch).

I actually called the store confirming the appearance! However Mothman had clouded the minds of the owners such that price had risen out of all reason saving my soul from eternal damnation! Whew!

Wait......how did it get out into public hands??? Were we not to ensure that it stayed within the small circle of doomed souls that originally bound together to protect an unsuspecting world from it's monstrous evil????? As before, I stand ready to contribute my part to keep humanity safe from this unspeakable evil.

I heard the store owners came in one day after the store had been closed and Moth Bass was just hanging there without explanation.

Thank God I had removed my basses that were on consignment before this arrived.
It's a darn shame; the owner, Matt Baker was such a nice guy; I assume he is some sort of a zombie now…

Thankyou guys so so much! I called them just now and am waiting on a price.
If it's within my range, I guess I'm making a trip from New York to Virginia.

If you do get it, let me know. I'm happily waiting to attain it at some point, and am up in Connecticut. I sacrifice myself for the good of humanity.

HE has a couple of forked head aluminum necked Kramers as thralls/bodyguards, maybe even more now.
Soon it will be impossible to approach HIS presence unhindered.

Eventually string changes will be impossible and the building funk will threaten the stability of the planet's axis.

This is why we see global warming becoming evident.
Mothman is drawing all evil to HIM.
Soon HE will have dominion over all the earth and darkness will reign.

    Wait...what? You 2 are crazy!

I say it's safest in the store where its absurdly high price can protect anyone from every obtaining it!

Unbelievable! I hit the "new posts" link, and the first 2 threads were "Sasquatch" then "Mothman"!

    Is this "reality TV" talkbass?

Well... I got a price. I just gotta wait until March when I get my school refund check! If it's still there I guess my friends and I are making a road trip From New York to Virginia! If it comes under my possession "here's to hoping it does" I'll be sure to let you all know when its dark powers begin to settle in. I swear, if it's gone by the time I get the money I'm gonna cry.

I've heard about this before but still have no clue what's going on. What's the back story on this, what's the running joke about the mothman bass?
