Saw them on Jimmy Kimmel the other night. Vince Neil looked like he was about to pass out and I'm not sure what is keeping Mick Mars upright. Time to hang it up.

I'm surprised Mick's been able to play at all over the past decade.

I didn't read through all of that. It has to be due to Mick Marr's health problems.

There's a biopic version of The Dirt coming out next year!

LOL, TB has got to be the most anti-hair metal site on the planet.

Vince has been singing every other word for years. He seems to be down to singing every 3rd word these days.

Although I totally agree with your Vince statement, I am a proud card carrying hair metalhead and TB'r. Crue was my first ever concert and Sixx is the reason I fell in love with the bass. I know he is the butt of many a TB joke but when I was 14, they were rock gods from another planet. As far as Mick Mars goes, he has some serious ability, check out 1994's self titled album with John Corabi.

I'm surprised it's taken this long for a thread to start about it. They announced it on like Thursday.

I had no idea they were still around. I thought Vince Neil was a solo act now.

Anyway, I've always thought Tommy Lee was a solid rock drummer. Never cared for the other guys in the band.

They're selling tix on Groupon for this concert in my town. Saved $10! (well, my wife & friends did, I'm just not into them)

I'm with you. Once you get past the makeup and theatrics( which btw they are a show band also ) Mick Mars could play his ass off,say what you will but I thought they were a very tight band.

Saw them on the Theatre of Pain tour. Sorry guys, they rocked. Was really surprised at how many of my friends were at the same gig. Nobody told anybody they were going. Guilty pleasure ?

I'll drink to that one, my friend, while attending a concert on their final tour.

Say what you want about the Crue, they may not be everyone's cup of tea (or Jack Daniel's) but they are very good at what they do. Saw them in 1990 Dr. Feelgood tour. Vince is 53 now and yes, he gets winded. So what? I'm inclined to believe that once this tour is over, they are done. I'm sure they could violate the contact but it would probably cost them.

I saw them on the Dr. Feelgood tour as well. They put on a hell of show, and the flora and fauna around the amphitheater was nice too... Certain members of their fan base were quite attractive in a wrap-it-twice kind of way.
