For sale, an MTD Grendel 5-string in Coral Blue. I just bought this a few months ago from Bass Thunder here on TB, but this hasn't gotten much use compared to my other basses.

It's in pretty much the same condition as when I got it, except I tweaked the setup to my liking, of course.

Will upload my own pics later, but here's a link to the thread I bought it from: http://www.talkbass.com/forum/f126/fs-mtd-grendel-5-string-972584/

$750 shipped CONUS. No trades for now.

Hi, it seems there were both 34 and 35 inch scales made. Can you confirm which this is please? Thank you

This is the 35" scale length.

Had one that had been beat-to-hell, fixed it up, and gave it to my brother. This is one of the best sounding Bart pre configurations I've encountered. Overall, a fantastic value in my book!

I had one of these in dark cherry red. I called Mike Tobias........he said they retailed for about 1800--1900. They are 35 inch scale. 1 7/8's at the nut and about 3 inches at the body. Different than the korean/chinese models. Hardware top of the line Hipshot.
Top maple veneer is a full 1/4 inch of wood, not just a paper thin type. It is a custom piece..........a really fine bass. Mine had low, low action and the barts were very nice.
Oh yeah, Mike couldn' remember if the body core was alder or poplar.......but this one might be all maple?

I really love the blue color.
