A couple people have mentioned wanting to see this since I got it painted... The bass is not 100% complete yet, but it still looks cool enough to snap some photos. I bought this MIJ Fender jazz w/ Allparts lined fretless neck a while ago and sent it to my buddy who goes by StreetScenes on TB. This was a 2 bass project (the other is waiting on an electronics fix). I asked Sean to paint it like the yellow and chrome Oregon Ducks helmets... As many of you know, I am an Oregon alumni and HUGE Ducks football fan... Here are the results:

I think that a green body with a matching headstock and
yellow strings and a chrome pickguard would look equally as great. And what about the Oregon "O" inlayed in pearl on 12th?

Funny you should mention the green w/ yellow strings... Remember I said it was a 2 part project. :bag:

It's also a little more difficult to capture the color because of all the sparkle he put in it, but its definitely bright yellow. I think he used Mini Cooper yellow and some chrome yellow mixed to get it there. It's pretty much the exact same color as the yellow Ducks helmets.

There's no such thing as an ugly jazz bass. However, I am partial to Black & Gold and Cardinal Red.
