My new arrival!

    Ok I think I got a decent deal on this but feel free to rain on the parade if not, no hard feelings. Yamaha TRB6 made in Japan all original, even a Yamaha hard case..$750. Damn I have been playing it constantly and feel like I am cheating on my XL2!

    No idea about the price, but that is a beautiful bass and they are killer; I have always wanted one. Congrats on getting it!!!

    Too many strings for my taste, but that is a very solid bass. Price sounds good too. Congrats!

    Thanks! Very comfortable but yikes that board is WIDE lol.. I need it for a salsa/merengue project and it's killer, low b is to die for!

    You got a killer deal. I've been lusting after the TRB6's for a while.

    Yamaha is the only company I know of that got the string spacing right on their six string contra basses. I'd sure love to own one. Congrats!

    I believe that you can't go wrong with Yamaha. No matter what the pricepoint.
