I pulled out my old Soundtank Bass Chorus yesterday, which I haven't used in about 15 years. I really didn't know any better back then, nor did I have any money ...

So, I plug it in (since my Epitome pedal's Electric Mistress switch is now spotty ...), and wow, I was really surprised with how nice it sounds! Full and lush and thick, with no tone loss and the range to get really weird if I wanted to. My only quibble is that you can really hear the sweep when a dirt pedal is run in front. But I don't really use the two at the same time anyway.

Fortunately I didn't use it very much back in the day, and I stored it in a bag deep in a closet, so the switch works just fine. But I'm not counting on longevity.

Does anyone else have experience/war stories with this pedal? And has anyone re-housed a Soundtank? I'm thinking of redoing it with a new switch and a metal case, but I'm a total noob with this stuff ...
