New Ampeg B100R owner here! Found this beauty on CL today. Made in USA and in minty condition, this amp still had the factory plastic covering the amp chrome. It came with casters and a nice padded case as well. I really like the tone and think it will help me become a better player!

Congrats on your new amp! I love mine and I glad I have it now that my SVT CL died. The tone is pure Ampeg and sounds very close to the old tube fliptops.

Great amp, congratulations. I have had one for maybe twelve years or so, and it was the best gear purchase I ever made. I would like to pick up another one to maybe treat a little better than the one I have now.

I have 2 of them. Great amp and a work horse. I have 5 or 6 amps I can gig with, but most of the time it is my trusty B100R tone machine.

Actually, that would be the B-15 ;) but the B100R is really good.

Congratulations! I have two B100Rs and they are keepers for sure. Do they make one a better player? Didn't work for me...:D

Thanks everyone, I'm really enjoying it so far.

The "pop" it makes on shutdown is quite loud, I understand from other posts here that most B100Rs do this.

Not to worry about that. It's no biggie. A lot of amps do that.

Congrats on your purchase. Picked mine up a couple of years ago and love it. It's a heavy little sucker, but man does it sound good!

Both of mine do the pop thing. I now view it as an audible confirmation that I have turned the amp off.:)
