I need some help locating a bridge that will have 16mm spacing on a 5 string bridge. I know the Schaller 3D-5 is adjustable to 16mm, but does anyone know of any others?

Which Shallers? I know the new 3D-5 will do 16mm spacing. What model would the Mighty Mite's be? I sent them an e-mail but have not gotten anything back from them

A Kahler 2450 can be set as close as 14 mm, and as wide as you'd ever want.

Nice. Thanks. I will start looking for them and pricing them out. I am working on a 4 to 5 project and I need the more narrow spacing

I found a Mighty Mite copy (I know it sounds just as funny to me) for just $15 new shipped! 16.5mm. I am going to give that one a try.

This is nice. I was joining here to post about narrow bridges and here we are, questions already answered.
I've got a junky Japanese 70's bass I need (ok, want) to set-up. Spending tons on a bridge makes no sense for that guy

Another vote for the Kahler bridge here. PITA to set up in the beginning, but when it's done, it's done.
Haven't adjusted anything but string height in 20 years.

If you're looking to get in on the cheap, check out the musicman style bridges at basspartsresource or ebay. they're like $20 ish and have 16mm spacing.
