    My new '14 Walnut T Bird.

    Be sure to give us a review. I'm interested to know how the walnut sounds vs one of the painted (I assume non-walnut) bodies. I've found walnut basses in general to be very mid focused which might sound really cool with the thunderbird electronics.

    Interesting,i thought tbirds were always made of mahogoney. I would think a walnut one would be 1. Very heavy,and 2. Much brighter sounding.
    That is a beautiful bass,Congrats!

    Nice, the headstock looks killer on these T Birds! Nice car, too! My uncle has the SRT-8 in what looks like the same purple colour, looks awesome!

    Thanks guys...She is a pretty piece of wood.

    The 12th fret is as pictured above. And the bulk of the body is Mahogany with a Walnut finish.

    Smooth playing with Classic Thunderbird tone.

    Should be a keeper.:bassist:

    However, pricing is INSANE for 2014:mad:

    T Birds aren't much on my radar, but that example is spectacular imo.
