Thanks to GaryLC for the bass I have been wanting ever since I started playing bass.

After a little scare when FedEx did not scan the package before it went on the truck for delivery and the employee I talked to on the phone said "Baby..I don't know where it is, but it ain't here", it arrived at my job site safe and sound where I immediately ran into a conference room and pluged it into my Tascam GB-10 and it nearly blew my head off.
Took it home on a crowded A train and played it through my practice amp for a bit and couldn't be happier.
Can't wait to play it at band practice tomorrow and really let her rip.
Thanks again to GaryLC for making my first bass buying experience on TB such a pleasant one.
If you have the chance to buy something from GaryLC do it!:D

Other than the original Fender knockoffs they made, the Musician is the only Ibanez bass I ever liked. Cool score!

Saw your updated pic in the "Family Portrait" thread, too. Nice collection.

Kinda looks like an Alembic, to me.

Alembic was the inspiration for the Musician series.

    Beautiful bass! Congrats!

And the A train is always crowded! But I would even take a crowded, rush hour 7 train for that bass! :)
