    Waaahooooo! :hyper:

In my best Peaches and Herb vocal: Re-united and it feels so good.:bassist:

Thanks to the second owner, I have been blessed with the opportunity to re-acquire my first and only Sadowsky NYC Custom P that I was forced to sell over 6 and 1/2 years ago. I LOVED this bass, but I simply had no choice at the time.

To say that he babied "Brownie" (the second owner's nickname for her) is the understatement of the century. Aside from some finger nail strikes on the PG, this bass looks like it just rolled off of Roger's current line last week!

Sorry if I overdid the pictures, but I couldn't resist.

BTW, is it OK if a guy sheds a few MANLY tears when he is able to get a bass back he was forced to sell but never wanted to?? Ahh who cares, I can't help but be overwhelmed by the second owner's generosity!!:D

Thanks guys. It's interesting that in the sunlight, the PG is almost white, but in person it is a really beautiful almost antique cream color with a hint of mint. It is darker than it appears in the pics I posted. It matches the clay dots to a tee.

    Thanks Rob.

Yes, something about having to pry it from my cold dead fingers seems appropriate!;)

I probably posted while you were. It's a Sadowsky HC Soapbar, but it sounds totally P to me, but with zero noise.

    that's a killer looking bass.
correct me if i'm wrong, but is the pickguard larger than a standard SCPB, thus moving the pickup closer to the bridge?

Thanks Rob. I owe it all to the generosity of Fab-Superlative aka Pappy, and an improving financial situation!:D

You'd have to ask Rob (Bikeplate) or Roger for that answer. I really don't know.
