    This is the new baby in the family, a Custom J made by the luthier Leandro Copetti.

    -Neck is flamed maple with double action truss rod, 2 graphite reinforcement rods, MOP (celluloid) block inlays and binding;
    -Body is alder, the color is sort of a daphne blue;
    -All Hipshot hardware;
    -Wilde pickups P46 and J45 (Bill Lawrence);
    -Electronics, control plate, pickguard and straplocks are Fender;
    -Strung with .040 Chromes.

    Hands down the best playability and sound I ever had! :hyper::bassist:

    I really dig it and love the MOP binding. I've never seen that before. Looks like adjusting the truss rod is going to be a pain!!!:(

    Actually I found that mop binding at the Warmoth online store. Couldn't find anywhere else...

    Yeah, I like to have the truss rod access at the headstock or a spoke adjuster at the heel, but the luthier doesn't offer those options.

    could he do a small route in the body to adjust the TR? that way you would only have to remove the pickguard to adjust it, and the pickguard would cover it up when it's on the bass.

    Close to R$4000, about $1800 USD.

    Considering that a MIM Fender costs about R$2600 and the cheapest Fender MIA is in the R$5000 range down here, that was actually a good price!

    That's really nice. I like that green.

    If only the neck had a little more flame it'd be perfect! ;)
