Has the sound and feel I've been looking and listening for. Neck is thinner than the American standard or American Deluxe. Strung with Fender flats with that old school sound. Man she's a dream.

Thinner front to back but wider at the nut. 1.73" I believe at the nut.

Thanks man. She came yesterday and I got up a 5:00 this morning to play her. My wife and I are expecting our second child and we go for the first sonar gram this morning so couldn't wait till we got back to play her. I'm really excited about the feel and the sound. I've got a 2013 Nash PB-63 coming today also. It's gonna be hard to get ahead of this 58 but I'm gonna see. I'll post pics of the Nash tonight.

The poles are raised on the pickup on the A string like they were on the original 58's. I didn't know that but a google search led me to find that out. I thought something was wrong with them lol.

you mean business my friend: '58 and '63:hyper:

back to the grail concept, '58 and '63 are like first and second crusade;) both historically fundamental!

not so keen on Nash basses, especially if relic'd, but I'm sure you know what you were lookin' for

Enjoy the moment for you're goin' to have lotta things comin' your way

    Cheers,
    Wallace

A beautiful bass! Probably my favorite Fender production.

Looking forward to pics of the Nash, too.

(Make sure your wife understands that the sonagram is the important part of your day!!!)

Thanks man. I'm excited to find out about the baby too!!!! I got the Nash from Eno50 on here. It wasn't too reliced and won't be too worried about getting it scratched as well.
