Gamma alpha p body with a gamma beta j neck. The neck is nice and chunky with a satin finish. I'm sure most TBers know about Joe Millstein's work, but if you don't, it's worth a look. Outstanding bass. I've owned numerous pbasses and never bonded with one till now.

I have turned into a huge Gamma fan. Can't beat the Gamma Alpha. That is a nice looking beast you have. Can you compare the pups to anything? Ive always used passive EMG, and I think the two are completely different. At times I am so tempted to put a set in just to hear the difference but then I figure why mess with something that is totally dialed in?

The only one that came close to the sound of this was a mij fender p I briefly had. What i love about precisions is the sound with the tone rolled off, and none of the others I've had sounded as warm and clean as this one. And with the tone rolled up, this thing is a beast.

I too am a huge fan for many reasons. The basses that Joey builds are wicked! It's cool to be able to speak to the person that I am dealing with directly. Great quality, awesome tone, looks that kill and personal service with a smile. What more could one ask for?

An actual website where I can get some actual info on this stuff and look at pictures to fuel my GAS would be nice.

Look for the "'GAMMA' custom bass guitars" facebook page. There you will find pictures. Talk to Joey for information.

Very nice! I heard the pink Gamma p-bass in a video on youtube and was impressed. Anyone know how much these basses typically run for new? I know it likely depends on features you choose, etc.
