Wow this has been a tough one i must have brought home at least 12 to 15 different basses trying to replace my second bass over the last 3 months.About 3 months ago i swapped off my 2000 USA Fender Jazz and regretted it ever since.Today was D day no more fooling around with anything but USA basses. The showdown a Fender American Deluxe P and a Musicman Sterling HH.My main bass is a 2010 Custom Shop 64 Closet Classic Jazz i played her hard for three years and now want to do the once a month special gigs play her thing. My choice the STERLING HH its just sooo sweet and perfect the P was nice but this just felt and sounded better to my ears.As hard as i look i cant find a joint seam on this bass i think it is a 1 piece body i took the tortois pick guard of it cleaned her shes ready to use.

That burst is SO pretty. Love how, if you wanted to, you could get a clear guard or put the screws in without it and it would look awesome.

That Sterling is practically screaming for a clear pickguard. Gorgeous grain pattern.

    Nice score!

    Nice grain!
I think Musicman does a great job with wood matching. I can't see the seam in my tobacco burst sterling either.

Congrats on the new bass! You're going to be amazed at how many great tones you're going to get out of an HH.
