Huge thanks to Rod for making this bass! I think it sounds even better than it looks. Home with a sick kid today, so I wasn't able to crank it up until about 10:30. My son is OK with the volume (he's learning bass, too!) and the neighbors are not home.

If I may ask, what part of it didn't pass QC?

I'm assuming that since the top string tuner is meant for the other side of the neck that it didn't pass QC. Great looking bass otherwise though, I really like the look of the wood grain on the body.

Stunning. I'm not a fan of gold hardware, but it works with this.

1st practice last night - it KILLED! Nice mix of music for the Sunday service.

    • Free Ride (yes, that one!)
    • All Because of Jesus (driving rock)
    • Leaning on Everlasting Arms (uptempo at 180 bpm walking jazz with LOTS of punches)
    • Today is the Day (8th note rock line)
    • Lord, I need You (rock ballad)
    • Crown Hom (Majesty)

I got 11 thumbs up on this bass from the other musicians!
