I actually had this bass for a couple of weeks now but haven't time to post anything here about it. So here goes.

Bottom line for $850.00 with a custom hard shell case this bass rocks! I can get any sound out of it from modern to old school to fingerstyle to funk. Fantastic low action which I love. The maple neck is fast and smooth. Balances great both in your lap or on a strap. Weight is about 8 pounds 12 ounces. Craftsmanship is top notch. Plus the color well what can I say. I love pink basses. This metallic pearl pink finish is the bomb. I added a custom ebony thumb rest. My special kinda mod. :)

I have paid over $4,000.00 for basses that don't even come close to the quality of this bass that costs under a grand. I am amazed!

Mark and Jodi from Bass Club Chicago took good care of me. Big Kudos to them. And Kevin from Retronix is a great guy to deal with.

If you have chance check them out. I am really happy with this bass. I was going to buy a jazz bass to cover my passive bass needs but no need for that anymore.

Here are some links for info on the bass:

That's one beautiful looking bass! Looks like it's straight out a 50's Sci fi comic! I love the admittedly slightly pointless pickguard on the upper horn!
