Picked it up today. Sounded too nice to pass up for the price!
I wish they'd do more of these, & classic vibe. more colors.

Congrats. Love the VM P.
Does it have the glossy neck & headstock or the original satin finish?
I noticed the other day the VM Jazz went to the gloss finish on the new versions.
Beautiful congrats Fender has really changed that line and there is nothing that compares with it at that price point. I actually prefer it to some of the U.S models she is a beauty.
Thanks. The neck definitely feels nice. It seems slimmer than an American p I had. As to the finish on the neck, I'll have to take a look.
Also went to fender pickups in the new ones, and I spy Duncan Design ones in the OP. Thus, satin neck? Right?
Yes to Duncan design and a more satin than glossy finish. I didn't want to believe the hype, but it's a nice instrument to play
For real. Finish options are one of the only reasons to go for Fender anymore given the quality of the Squiers. I know they are conspiring against me. But they win... I feel another buy coming post tax refund.
Congratulations! Beautiful looking bass!
Yes it is. Great looks, great to play, great sounding, what's not to like?
I juts wanted to ask OP, does yours have a two piece or three piece body? Mine's a two piece.
I have the white older version and I love it. These are so underrated!
That's a fine looking bass!! I picked up an Indonesia Squire Jazz Affinity last week and I swear, it is one of the finest basses I've ever played.
