    Looks to be a super-clean example. I've owned & sold many basses over the past 30 years, but my old XL-2 is one of the few that I really regret selling...

    Nice!! I still have my berger guitar . . . never sell it! I just wish i didn't look so weird playing one (I'm a big guy - it'd never work :D)

    Forget about "image", the Steinberger tone kicks butt! I'd play one with either my metal band or my bluegrass project if I still had it. Fortunately, my Spectors have a very similar tone. Hmmm, probably has something to do with the builder/designer...
