    Greets all,

I got a new 6 string coming in and I am tossing around control layouts. Two pickups and a pope pre.

    1. 4 way tele style blade with 3 knobs (vol-stack-stack)
    2. 4 knobs (vol-blend-stack-stack)

Looking for a clean, tidy, and intuitive layout.

    3 way switch "Bridge-Both-Neck"
    Two concentric-stacked Vol/Tone knobs
    Doesn't get much tidier IMO

By "stack" do you mean "tone"?

pope 4 band with treb/bass stack and low/high mid stack. I was actually thinking 4 way tele blade with neck-both parallell-bridge-both series.

Volume/volume stack and a the two eq stacks. Alternatively you can do a vol/balance stack but those are harder to find.

The pope flexcore doesnt do vol/vol stack or vol/blend stack.......without much work. The other option would be to go John east, noll, or find that expensive MEC 89552 pot and rig something up.

option 2 is the obvious way to go. vol, pan, EQ; simple.

series/parallel gets you into switching weirdness and is unnecessary, if you want a bass boost you already have it via the pre.
