I posted all the info and pics on my original
Zero Mod thread , so check it out if you are interested .
Got two prototype units made and i need to see how they work
for people. You get the glory of going first, and get to buy
a CNC made one for cost once I actually start making them.

That's assuming they work as I expect.....Testing on my
own P was positive but I am kind of biased :bag:

    Got a test pilot !
Sending this baby out to Minnesota - If all goes well we should be able to offer them
for sale by end of May.

  8. If you still need another tester, I'll give it a go.

    Sending a PM as well.

That does not make any sense...
Can't "lose the guard" once you have all the holes drilled in the finish
and a top routed body which is meant to HAVE a guard.
To be done properly "without a guard" you need to put the bass together with
that in mind. I have some Fender type basses without guards and they look great,
but it's way easier to add a guard than remove it.

Reports from both test pilots are pretty positive, one pretty much gave me the idea for
a whole variant model ! The only way to address his issues :)
Will be asking for them back soon and going to the machine shop
to try for a CNC made one.

Had a summit meeting with my machine shop - 3 hours of work to make the 3D file for the "P-1"
The first P Bass version Zero Mod rest! Using my hand made prototypes and the input from my
test pilots, i expect to have some out from the shop by end of June:hyper:
