Just put together my new Mini Rig.
    Used MarkBass Little Mark II
    New GK Neo 112 Cabs

If the LM II doesn't work out … I'll get a GK MB500

The entire rig weighs in less than one of my old series 1 GK Neo 115s did (well maybe a little more ;) )

after I break in the speakers I'l post a mini review…...

    so far= [Bass balance centered, tone open], amp gain 12 o'clock, amp tone 12, VLE 12, VPF 9 o'clock, Master 8:30 - 9…...
tweeters in cabs off… Without having broken in the speakers the rig is tight, round and great pitch recognition with fast response in the lows.

Moving it is a breeze and setup / teardown will be quick and easy. Now just 10-15 more hours of playing to get the speakers loosened up.

See if you can demo an MB Fusion. I have the mb2-500 A07 which is very good and an MB-Fusion which IMO is the best GK yet... More laid back in the upper mids, more air in the highs. Slightly pillowy low end. Still very much a GK but more polite and with the eq you can put back some hi mids for the aggro GK thing if you wish.

As of this morning there was an MB2-500 A07 for $250 in the GFS... That is a heck of a deal...

I ordered a MB500 already from GK…. I thought about the fusion ..the last integrated head I had was an SWR 400 I liked it but after I got the GK 1001RB II…… I got kinda spoiled for anything but that GK (non tube) front end… everything was set flat (12 o'clock) and I had the 5 string switch engaged….. Thanks for the info though ;)

(I do record through a Peavey Max Bass Pre…. I had it racked and on the road for a little while but the tube kept failing out LOL !! great studio pre.)
