My friend is building me a 6 stringed single cut bass. We are using what we have. I got white delano xtender pickups and we are using flame maple top wood, I couldnt decide the colour. What do you think?

I love natural finishes. With white pups, though?

Honestly, I'm having trouble thinking of a color that will flatter the top wood while pairing nicely with white pups. Trans black, maybe?

Whitewashed transparent. Super glossy. You gotta display that grain. The white trans may pair with the white PU's better.

I'd go for a coloured oil finish. Ocean blue or something like that.

A really, REALLY transparent Cherry Red would look pretty kickin' with white pups.

  10. White pups? Trans Blue.
