I've followed Ian from the start, he/they never disappoint.

Check out the bass tone on on their new song, sounds phenomenal. I probably think that because that's kinda what my Spector NS-5MM sounds like :)

Thanks for the link. I love Albatross and listen to it all the time. I also can't get sick of That Song.

The new single has more evident bass and nice playing. The bass on Albatross was just ok. Even Bass Mag roasted his playing in their review.

Do you get nostalgic when you hear it?

Love the emphasis on bass in this song and the SRV inspired solo. Big Wreck never disappoints. Such a killer band.

I am amazed, I did not think Big Wreck had any international success. I assumed they were CANCON to the core. This single is much better than the entire Albatross album, that was a snorefest pile of **** in my opinion. I normally spin an album twice to make sure it was not my mood but I tossed that disc after one spin. Single is not my bag, great bass playing but I think the tone is a little bass-y and a little too present in the mix. (Flame away) I really think they have had not a good song since the 90s, I hated Thornley's solo stuff (I did not love that song)

Great bass track though. Tasty licks in there.

EDIT: I forgot to add, I cannot believe they are actually from Boston.

Depends. Am I listening to it in my room? Or am I hearing it from some other source, say from a car across the street?

Actually, now that I think about it, I only listen to 3 or 4 of the first 5 songs. Don't ever get deeper than that. I do love Albatross, Wolves and Head Together though.
