New Gibson EB bass

    I'm going to try and play one before I get my knickers in a twist. Who knows, it could be really sweet.

    Well it least it won't neck dive like some of the Gibson designs do. It would look better in black or white or red or even natural.

    I like it. It is refreshing to see Gibson not use mahogany in one of their basses.

    Sure does look like a Mosrite. Though it no doubt is built, sounds and plays better than the vintage Mosrite basses.

    EB has always meant Electric Bass
    EB-0, EB-1, EB-2 .....

    Good point. Other than that, I don't see anything wrong with it. To me, Gibson has always been a guitar company that occasionally makes a bass - which is usually a copy of one of their guitars.

    But this looks like a solid, affordable instrument. Maybe it plays and sounds great.

    Wow, tough crowd...I think it looks sweet. Not exactly sure what "all-of-the-problems" are...

    Humorously, Sweetwater shows it in Black, White, and Natural. No Red, though - sorry!
