New Guild M-85 reissues!

    It doesn't look like this has been posted yet, so I thought some of you might like to hear that Guild is reissuing the M-85 bass as part of their Newark St. line.

    1 and 2 pickup models, both of which feature the updated Bisonic pickups. It looks like these are the thinner M-85s, but still pretty cool!

    Those do look intriguing but the MSRP on the GSR model...ouch.

    Ludicrous pricing indeed. I actually tried out a vintage GSR bass a little over a week ago. And the vintage bass sold for about $2500, which is considerably less than the $4495 msrp that Guild is publishing in relation to the new GSR.
