1. Welcome to TalkBass 2014! If you're new here, we just went through a major site upgrade. Please post all concerns and bugs to the Forum Usage Issues forum. We will be monitoring that forum. Thank you for all of your feedback.

The TalkBass iphone/android app is NOT WORKING currently. We're working on it. Tapatalk IS working, so if you need to use an app, use Tapatalk. Try using your browser though - TalkBass is now 100% responsive to your phone/tablet screen size ;)

Please read the TalkBass 2014 FAQ for lots of great info on the new software.

Hey all. Long time lurker, new member. I have played for 20 or so years, mostly in heavy or experimental projects. I love Motown as much as I love metal (and know what the best bass for metal happens to be). Ha! Ask me stuff. Or don't.

My basses are in my signature. Glad to be here.

Right now I still have flats on it, but I'm switching to half-rounds next time. Maybe rounds. I love the tones of the bass, and mine is in beautiful shape for a 40 year-old instrument. Like Sofia Vergara good shape. Gorgeous. And there were only 1,500 made, so I'm sure there aren't that many around these days. Is yours the red or natural? How do you like yours?
