    Hello,

I am a guitarist who has just become the proud owner of a Fender Mustang bass. This is my first bass purchase and I could not be happier. I wanted a short scale bass and the Mustang turned out to be the best choice for me. I am running it through a Tech 21 VT Bass into a Carvin PM10A powered monitor. It sounds amazing!

Welcome to TalkBass! Congrats on the new purchase. Fender makes great instruments. You'll find a lot of love for the vt bass pedal here. A great pedal. Enjoy!

Very nice! I played a MIJ mustang that looked just like that, and loved it. And i normally do not like short scale basses, but that one felt perfect. Plus the VT pedal just rules!
