    Very interesting regarding the natural finish one. Kind of looks like decent wood. I wonder how accurate that photo is.

    Wether or not the wood is any good, it's still just one picture of one particular bass. Not to cast too much doubt on the whole model, but I'm sure they picked the best looking one of the lot for the photo op.

    Someone reported on the new Classic Vibes a week or two ago, but the natural P-bass is new news. Good detective work, jackson!

    BREAKING NEWS: Doing a search of my own revealed this too, a natural finish Affinity Jazz five-string;

    It makes me wonder if Fender/Squier will put on an authorized sale just before they come out in May. Y'know, something to clear some room for the new models perhaps?

    Why the $20 price bump on the affinity?

    Hmmm…"Squier Custom P Bass"?

    Could you imagine this? On one end of the spectrum is the Fender Custom Shop. At the opposite end is the Squier Custom Shop.

    Think about this for an example; ordering a sunburst VM Jazz body matched up with a neck from a Chris Aiken Precision, complete with the pickguard, bridge and pickup configuration of your choice (P, J or P/J), all wrapped up in one neat little bow with your favorite Fender strings and delivered to your door. No more scouring the net for parts or buying this-and-that bass to part-out and selling off the remains.

    Caaaaaaaaan yooooooouuuuuu dig iiiiiiiiiiit?! :D
