I received a brand new German made Warwick Thumb NT 5 (neck through 5 string) as a gift from my siblings but they didn't know I already have one. They held it beyond the return period before springing it on me at a reunion of sorts. I can't return it.

This thing is literally unplayed. I unsealed the "Framus Warwick" factory tape on the box to examine it and take pics for listings. It includes the RockCase flight case. It is meticulously packed for secure shipping and will be sent to you in same.

I am selling for $3,999 delivered continental US. This is $500 less than lowest price I can find anywhere. Let me know if you find one new for less than $4,500 delivered with the Flight Case.

That has crossed my mind. However, I completely fixed up the old one, customized it and it is my baby. I refinished it (very cool red chestnut stain), all new hardware, redid the frets, some custom decorative features and this thing sounds and looks amazing.

Yes, it is. We lost my dad and I had to handle everything. Took me a few years but I got it done. Very cool of my sibs.

back of the neck looks amazing. My wife doesn't understand that it doesn't matter if people can't see the back when you are playing. You know it is amazing and that's what matters. :)

I hadn't looked at this bass that closely because I didn't want to be tempted. I pretty much took the pics, zipped through each note to make sure it sounded OK and wrapped it all back up. DrZ wants this bass and our discussion inspired me to go and take a look at it. I must say, the top is stunning. The grain pattern on the top and even on the neck is pretty unusual compared to most of the thumbs I have seen in numerous listings. Starting to cave. . .

    Sold for asking price ($3,999.99).

I feel like I just broke up with a girlfriend whom I really liked.
