    Dear Houston Texans,

For the love of all that is holy, do not draft Johnny Manziel.

    Sincerely,

    A Concerned Fan

Why don't you don't want the Money Badger? Are you more of a Case Keenum fan? T.J Yates?

Of the bunch, I choose Keenum. I'd rather the Texans take Clowney 1st overall, and then grab a QB in the 2nd or 3rd round.

If it ends in 'a but not 'er it is ok, among black players. The NFL is really getting weird.

The new NFL season has started with a flurry of free agency moves and trades.

Denver is cleaning up in free agency after one day...Ware and Talib signed.

I was hoping Pittsburgh could pick up Byrd, but the Saints nabbed him first.

I'm glad to see that we signed Michael Bennett.

I hope that we can keep Golden Tate here.

    Yes :)

But it looks like Denver is going with Montee Ball as their #1 RB if they can't keep Knowshon Moreno around. The guy finally has a break out year and he's already on the block. Uh oh.

Cleveland will screw it up. You heard it here first.

Cleveland cut some QB's today. I may head over there for a tryout.

Golden Tate rolls out of Seattle on the first day of free agency. He did a 180 from the 'I want to stay here and win' talk he was saying after the SB.

Seattle won't give him near the money he will get somewhere else. Bennett was the guy who said he was going to go for the cash, and from the sounds of it, he left some cash on the table to stay put. Thurman is gone and so is Rice. I would be sad to see Tate go, but they have the rest of the pedestrian appetizers to throw to. Those guys did OK this past year.

Right, but Tate said he wouldn't take more money to go to a loser team. I don't consider Detroit a winner (7-9 record last season). I have no problems with anyone maximizing their income, but don't stand in front of people and say you won't do something, then turn around and do it.

Eric Decker goes from Peyton Manning to Geno Smith.

    Money talks.

That's all very disappointing. I really liked Tate. I wonder what the difference in offers was?

I see the Steelers signed Mike Mitchell from Carolina. Really? That guy? I am disappointed.

Revis Island is coming to Foxboro! On my list of Top Ten Most Important Players on a Team only a QB is more important than a top notch cover corner, and Revis is one of the if not the best.

Hopefully there's enough money left to get Jared Allen! If they can sign him then the Pats D will be scary good! :D
