We made it. The end of the regular season is finally here. Lot's of exciting games this weekend.

I am going to predict the moon and stars align for the Steelers, and they make it to the playoffs even though they only beat Cleveland by one point with a long field goal as time expires.

Hopefully the NYG/WAS gets on TV here. It would be nice to see London Fletcher one last time.

^ Well, it's possible, but highly improbable.

    1. Steelers would have to beat Cleveland (possible)
    2. Ravens would have to lose to Cincinnati (possible)
    3. Miami would have to lose to the Jets (possible)
    4. San Diego would have to lose to the Chiefs (possible)

So yeah, it IS possible, but I won't be holding my breath. And even if it WERE to happen like that, the Steelers don't really deserve to make it this year. (But of course, if all of those other teams lose, I guess THEY don't really deserve it either... :D

I know what you mean, but what fun is it to give up at this point? :D

Nine in a row at home for your Flyers. Things are looking up. Went into the break with a solid win last night. Meanwhile, the Pens decided to hit the break early and skip the Ottawa game last night, they lost 5-0.

It's funny you say that... Growing up in Philly in the 60's and 70's - the Phillies sucked, the Eagles sucked, and the Flyers were our one source of city sports-pride.

Yeah, I've been a fan since the '70s. I grew up in Western PA, so I was always a Steelers and Pirates fan. But while I was in the military, my family moved to Harrisburg. After getting discharged in '72, I became a Flyers fan because that's whose away games the cable company aired.

1974 & '75 were great with the Cup wins. A whole lot of "close, but no cigar" years ever since.

My apologies for the hockey detour. And now, back to your regularly-scheduled NFL thread...

On the other hand, they might want to go into the playoffs with some sort of (positive) momentum, rather than a 2-5 streak.

The Cowboys are going to get demolished! Last against the run against McCoy and no Romo.

If the Patriots can beat the Bills they'll have the #2 seed sown up. Shouldn't be a problem. However, if (and that's a big IF) the Broncos should lose in Oakland, then they'll have the #1 seed. But no matter what happens it's been a fascinating season for the Pats. Having to endure tons of injuries to key players and rookie receivers to shepherd along, as a Pats fan all I can say is thank God for Tom Brady! Without him we're looking at maybe a 7-9 season, with him we're a legit SB contender. I say Tom Brady is the true MVP this season, no matter what Peyton Manning does.

If aaron Rodgers plays, and we will know for sure on thursday, the Packers will beat da Bearss. Flynn doesnt have that good of an arm and is not very accurate throwing more than 15 yards.

One thing right here again has to be said is the Bears still suck.

The Seahawks had a tough time with the Rams the first time around, so they could end up a wild card if they blow it.

    Go Cubs!

The Seahawks may place Percy Harvin on IR.

It appears that Harvin has been a colossal bust for our team. If he isn't recovered from his hip injury yet, then I rather doubt that he ever will.
