This is actually about 3 years overdue, but better late than never.

I bought a used Valenti bass and I had a problem with it. Nino contacted me after reading my post about it here on TB and offered to fix it. It wasn't even really his fault, but he went out of his way to make it right for me.

I'm being purposely vague about the details because another TB member was involved and I'd like to let bygones be bygones.

I just want to say that the build quality on that bass was absolutely top notch, and Nino's customer service (or maybe "owner service", since I didn't even buy the bass from him) was exemplary.

    Thank you Nino.

I have never played or hearf a Valenti bass guitar. But that is the bass I will be saving my pennies for. Only because of the spectacular reviews I hear about his instruments.

I can vouch for Nino's work as well as him being a stand up guy. Upfront, honest, and a great builder.

I heard he can walk on water...but he'd rather turn it into wine, first.

I've known Nino for a few yeas now, and he always stands behind his work. Whether you bought it from him or from someone else, he knows his name is on the product. He's an all around good guy.

I have never yet owned a Valenti, but hope to some day. I have talked to him on a personal level, and from everything I have to say about him,he is an awesome guy who has great passion for what he does.

Great thread....the man knows how to build a quality bass but also how to build and maintain his great reputation. It is obvious that when his name is on your instrument - it means something to him.

Compare with Addison's thread about how he has been treated by Coppolo....there is no comparison

    Congrats Niño Valenti!

I couldn't get an instrument from Nino, as I think I can't afford it right now, but he did send me a nice prompt reply and a very reasonable price list for a custom builder!

    His instruments are beautiful too!

I love hearing about great customer service and quality products. Even though his basses aren't my thing I respect him as a builder and human being.

I've met him at a few GTGs, and had the opportunity to play a few of his basses at them as well. He's a great guy and his work is world-class.

Chef's '54-style Valenti P5 is to die for. Chef, can you post that here?
