So since LQ Badass 2's are about impossible to find what are you using as a replacement Gotoh 201? Something else??

Looks like evolution and common sense finally caught up to the BA bridge.

To echo what's been said, BA bridges are still pretty easy to find here and on ebay. With as many has been sold over the long lifespan of the product and the fact that so many bass players can't seem to leave their instruments alone I think this will be the case for some time. Once they become officially extinct I don't think it will really matter since they are so many other and arguably better options.

Yeah, keep an eye on classifieds and eBay. They are constantly being turned over, for some reason. ;)
  9. Funny how these bridges have gone from the most praised to the most criticized. They are admittedly heavy but my 2 Fretless jazz have them and I love them and won't be changing to anything else .

I like the threaded saddle/ bent Fenders but will not bash the BA . (In my case a II and a III )

I don't get it? They're regularly going on the bay for $50-100, but I'll sell you my ultra-hard-to-find rare one from my geddy J for $400 ;)

Buy a used Geddy Fender and take the bridge off if it.
