So basically, I may have a bit more spare cash after taxes than I assumed, and I'm starting to have fewer excuses for not getting one. Specwise, basic woods, passive electronics, 34 inch scale, 19mm bridge. Bolt on is fine. Just need to get a flat fingerboard, small frets, and a ramp. Good setup. I would also prefer it somewhat on the light side. Punchy finger style tone with some growlly mids. Oh, and good evenness across all the strings tonally of course, and a solid B. Any suggestions? Im looking on the budget side of the spectrum (2000ish..), and am aware of Cliff Bordwell, Stambaugh, and Hanewinckel close to that, but would welcome other suggestions as I'm not up to date on many of the newer builders. Cheers, and I apologize for the terse manner of writing. Tablets tend to encourage Newspeak for me..
