I am new to the commercial forums so please feel free to let me know if I get things mucked with my posts (!)

I am a lil one man band operation making limited run CNC
machined thumb rests designed for "easy on easy off"
and make no holes in your bass!

The one I make for the Rickenbacker 4001 and 4003
has gone over really well, and now have one for the 10 hole
    pattern Fender Jazz Bass.

I am looking for information on other models like the other Fender
Jazz patterns, Lakland, and have Music Man Stingray version in the works.

You can see my Ric and Jazz rests on Troy Hughes basses
    on You Tube!

Got the first batch of black ones in today - an acrylic we believe will provide the strength and quality established by the polycarbonate edition!

    Email me for availability

    PKR - Please do! :bassist:

    As to Stingray - YES!
I have a design...Still trying to find the time to make
the prototype and if you are interested in being a
"Zero Mod Test Pilot" you can try it and report back
to me...And then get one at cost for your troubles!

I am right now making prototypes of the P Bass design
the toughest nut to crack... The Squier Affinity P is easy
but the standard P is problematic. Got something cooking on it.

We have one for Lakland Jazz available now - Also fits
Mike Lull MV4 ,Sadowsky Vintage, and Metro Vintage.
    and some Sandberg models.

Yeah, a LOT of people have been saying that.

Which is why I pushed it ahead of the Stingray
and some others. The screw pattern of the standard P
does not lend itself to this ....But I am trying something
    really different:cool:

Should have one cobbled to test next week and IF
it works on MY P bass I will be moving forward!

Have to take the regular Fender rest I screwed on
years ago, off for the tests:D

Oh, no worries what so ever :). There's a lot more basses out there that are more popular.

OK, no takers - Test pilot for the Squier version?

How about for the main classic P Bass?

Guard screw like the one in this illustration?
The important screw is the 2nd one from the right
along the top edge. This is the one that took me a while to work out!
it is actually supported by just that one screw believe it or not :hyper:

Here is what the prototype looks like on my workhorse P Bass - This one AIN'T pretty
But it is a working version - CNC made ones in black white and clear will be way nicer looking
