    Thanks for the post.

    I just called them on the Rick Turner. It's a lined fretless (hard to be sure from the photo.)

    Here's the problem....look on the left side of the pic...bottom of the bass....those are "rubber feet" that the previous owner screwed directly into the wood!

    Ummm, thanks for playing, I'm no longer interested in this one. :rollno:

    Yeah, we have a "very prolific" player in the area that has made that same mod on MANY basses. Strap buttons and new knobs are a quick fix but certainly not for purists.
