So what is the purpose of a new thread every 1000+ posts? Performance issues? I have never.seen any other forum do this.

I'm now "watching" this thread but it doesn't show up in my list. I think I'm number 69! or 457! Ha. I'm subscribed to the short scale forum as well and can't remember which number goes with which. Anybody know what's up.

Hi folks, this is my first post. I like the neck on the Mikro 4-string, but I haven't had a chance to get my hands on the 5-string model. Is there someone here who can describe the differences in those two necks? Specifically, does the 5 feel chunkier, clunkier, or less comfortable than the 4? Thanks in advance. :)

I never gave these basses a second look, but after looking through this thread I'll definitely have a closer look next time I'm near one. I should have known that a bass named after the guy from "Dirty Jobs" would be a work horse.

Lchamp28, if you add your clubs to your signature then you don't have to remember them. The way to do that is, if you are logged in.
    1. upper right of screen see your login ID, right click and
    2. left click on Signature and add the clubs

I asked this in a separate thread, but if I was smarter, I'd have come here first. Will a Mikro, in its gig bag, fit in the overhead compartment of a standard commercial aircraft?

    Thanks.

kbuschmann, it would depend on the Airline and the type of aircraft. It could go into the 1st class coat closet if it would not fit in the overhead compartment. It would be best to ask at check in.

It's awesome that you weighed your bass on a fish scale. It was 5 lbs, but you should have seen the one that got away! Groan...

Thank you 3234718, but that link does not work for me all I get is a white page. If it goes to the Ibanez page with all the manuals, I've been there but could not find a manual for the Mikro.

    Anyone else have a manual????
