'is it live or is it Memorex?' crowd -whole threads about the sin of EW&F having some recorded stuff in their shows

then there were ALL the Flea apologists re: Super Bowl pantomime

    at least be consistent

He got tired of us slagging on him! He's got a point to prove.

I saw a video several years ago when I had to learn Getaway for an audition. 2 bass players. Verdine just played the simple stuff so he could strut around the stage, while the other bassist was playing the groove. Kind of a letdown.

Flea is still better than Verdine White, whether he's faking or not.

I was glad to see Verdine whip the old Ibanez Verdine White Signature bass. I thought Verdine sounded good. It is good to hear him live for a change. He still dances around pretty good too.

Janelle Monae kicked some butt! Her latest album is great, she should be getting the sort of attention that someone like Beyonce always has.:hyper:

Love Verdine! Having grown up in the 70's he's 1 of my "Bass Icons"!

    But

I hate all of his jumping around on stage...

  16. Legendary bass player, no doubt.

What I find very strange and irritating is his incredily white teeth.

Let's see would I rather be Verdine White millionaire, six time Grammy Winner, producer and loved by millions? or some dude on some internet forum saying that Flea is better than I am,my teeth are too white or he's disappointed I dance too much? I'm taking option #1 the rest of you enjoy this fine discussion.

I'm fairly certain that track always had a doubled bass part.
